Since carrying out my pitch I have decided to alter my narrative as I realised it would be hard to create a trailer of a quality I would be poud of with the few resources that I had if I had to continued with the theme of the 1960's it would be difficult to create mise en scene which depicted the era accuratley in especially in regards to the location. So I have taken inspiration and advice which I have gained from my pitch and decided to set the trailer in current times.
The narrative revolves around a group of university students who have decided to document their history project by making a film as they carry out their research. The group are given the task to research a local legend and present their findings. They begin to research historical legends surrounding london. Whilst carrying out research they come accross the story of the highgate vampire, they research into similar sightings of vampires and come accross the local myth of a woman from the 18th century who was accused of being a witch. They discover the womans house was burnt down by villagers as they believed she had a connection with the devil, it is believed the woman still roams the forest where her house lay as she was salvaged from the fire and made immortal by a vampire.
The group decide to investigate the forest as there has been dissaperances of those who hike there, aswell as a numerous animal deaths. The group explore the woods, however one of the students immediatley becomes faint, after touching a cursed locket which belonged to the woman. When the girl returns home her behaviour becomes strange the group video her for evidence and seek advice from a Proffessor who works at the university, he explains that she is writing in symbols related to devil worshipping she also argues that she has seen the woman he advises them to return to the forest and return the locket. As they return to the forest the girl who is possessed becomes incresingly irrational and murders them all, her location remains unkown. The footage from the trailer will be in the style of 'Found footage', and will document the events which occurred.
